It's been a year, two months and ten days since writing my last entry, and man, a lot has changed since then.

Over the summer, I, along with my family moved to Burbank. The beaches turned into hills, while the burning sun now overpowers the cold, damp wind. They call it the entertainment capital of the world. I call it home.

Moving here also meant no Wilson Law Magnet for me. Instead, I went to a high school whose API almost reached 800 and is a California Distinguished School. Not quite so bad, eh? This year, I started getting Bs, missed school frequently and got in a lot of trouble, especially with my Spanish teacher.

Damn it I was having the time of my life.

I learned that life is not all about a 4.0 GPA. Heck, it has almost nothing to do with it. All this time that I've had straight As, it didn't mean anything more than a piece of paper saying I was good at school, but the memories I made and friends that I met means I was great at life.

Volleyball found no place in my schedule. However, I found refuge in a fun-sized diatonic Harmonica. What with my seven classes and five clubs (in two of which I held office) it was the perfect stress relief that I could carry in my pocket. I also improved my mile time by five minutes, thanks to my mean, loud, scary, nontheless incredible P.E. teacher, Fritz.

This year, I also signed up for art class. It was AMAZING. Once I found out about the wonders that could be done with a pencil, Photoshop was definitely gone. I am now experimenting with tempera on canvas and heavy paper.

Change can only be good if you make it. I should know. It's been a year, two months and ten days, and man, a lot has changed. Deep down inside, I guess I still am the same old Angela, only a little more open to changes
